[HCM] 3D SCAN THE WORLD Workshop Series Recap – Exploring the World of 3D with Lumina Academy

27/03/2026

The “3D SCAN THE WORLD – Step Into The World of 3D” workshop series organized by Lumina Academy recently concluded after several inspiring sessions that gave young creatives a clearer and more practical introduction to the professional 3D industry.

More than just a series of technical workshops, 3DSTW was designed as an immersive journey where participants could gradually explore how the 3D industry operates in real-world production environments. Whether they were complete beginners or already interested in pursuing a creative career, attendees gained valuable perspectives throughout the program.

During the workshop series, participants were introduced to the broader landscape of the modern 3D industry, including Modeling, Animation, VFX, and Game Design. Through detailed sharing sessions from Lumina Academy mentors, attendees learned not only about different career roles but also about the actual workflow behind creating professional 3D products.

One of the most valuable aspects of the series was its practical approach. Instead of focusing solely on software or technical theory, mentors shared real experiences from their professional journeys, discussing the challenges of entering the industry and the mindset needed to grow as a creative professional. These conversations helped many participants better understand the opportunities and realities of working in the 3D field.

Each workshop session brought a different experience. Some focused on career orientation and creative thinking, helping participants understand the importance of system thinking and problem-solving in the industry. Others explored production pipelines, technical workflows, and studio-level processes in greater depth. Interactive Q&A sessions also gave attendees the opportunity to ask questions directly and connect more closely with industry professionals.

The energetic and open atmosphere throughout the series helped participants realize that the 3D industry is not limited to those with exceptional talent, but is also open to individuals who are willing to learn, stay persistent, and continuously develop their creative mindset.

In addition to hands-on learning experiences, Lumina Academy also prepared special gifts for participants as a token of appreciation for their enthusiasm and active involvement throughout the program.

Lumina Academy sincerely thanks everyone who joined and accompanied us throughout the 3DSTW workshop series. We hope these experiences will become the starting point for many young creatives entering the professional world of 3D. And for those who missed this series, the world of 3D is still waiting—and Lumina is always ready to guide you on the right path forward.
