[HCM] The Journey of Creative Freedom: “3D Scan The World” at BTEC FPT & Melbourne Polytechnic
Recently, Lumina Academy, in collaboration with Wacom, successfully organized the workshop series “3D Scan The World” for students from BTEC FPT and Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam. The event offered students a valuable opportunity to explore modern 3D technology and gain deeper insight into professional creative production workflows.
More than just a technical workshop, the program was designed as an immersive experience where creativity began not only with advanced computer systems, but also through the connection between human imagination, observation, and hands-on interaction.
During the workshop, students had direct access to cutting-edge devices from Wacom, one of the world’s leading brands in digital drawing technology and creative tools. Combined with Lumina Academy’s industry-oriented teaching approach, the event provided a comprehensive perspective on the fields of 3D Design, VFX, and digital content production.
One of the most impactful aspects of the workshop was the real-world knowledge shared by industry experts. Rather than focusing solely on theory, mentors discussed practical experiences, professional workflows, and career insights from the creative industry. These conversations helped students better understand career orientation, essential skills, and development paths within the 3D field.
Beyond technical learning, the workshop also inspired students to think more seriously about their future careers. Many participants began to visualize the journey from being passionate about creativity to becoming professional 3D Artists.
