K10H Student Showcase | Maya Prop for Games After 36 Lessons
After completing 36 lessons in the Maya Prop for Games module, students from K10H – Professional 3D Program have successfully created their first game-ready 3D assets, marking an important milestone in their journey toward becoming professional 3D Artists.
These projects represent more than learning a software package - they reflect the development of observation skills, design thinking, and an understanding of professional game production workflows.
FROM SIMPLE SHAPES TO GAME-READY ASSETS
Every chest, weapon, prop, or everyday object in a game begins with simple geometric forms.
Transforming those forms into production-ready assets requires artists to analyze structures, optimize topology, refine details, and follow an efficient production pipeline.

Through the Maya Prop for Games course, students learned not only how to use Maya but also how to create assets following professional game development standards.

36 LESSONS OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Throughout the course, students practiced building a wide variety of assets, including weapons, environmental props, decorative objects, and everyday items commonly found in game environments.

Each project reflects countless hours of observation, experimentation, iteration, and instructor feedback.
More importantly, students began developing the production mindset required of professional Game Artists - understanding how to transform creative concepts into assets ready for real-world production.

THE BEGINNING OF A LONGER CREATIVE JOURNEY

These first projects represent an important achievement and provide a strong foundation for the more advanced production modules ahead.

Congratulations to all K10H students on completing this milestone in the Maya Prop for Games course.
We look forward to seeing your skills continue to grow as you build increasingly sophisticated portfolios and move closer to becoming industry-ready 3D Artists.
